Poverty in Brazil is slowly dwindling down due to many reasons. At least 53 percent of Brazil's population are now middle class, which is a big difference from 38 percent which was just 10 years ago. To help improve the conditions of the people in Brazil, countries must focus on some very key areas, including: governance, health, education, infrastructure, debt structure and people's access to markets.
Several programmes and community initiatives are in place to help the people living in poverty and as well as this, children from all different areas have access to education. Recently, President Dilma Rousseff launched a national anti-poverty program, which will help Brazil in many ways.

"Here is a brilliant idea for how to help poor people: give them money. Specifically, give them enough money to end their poverty."
